Contrary to Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, Return to Castle Wolfenstein doesn't support HTTP Downloads in-game. This is where this little application comes in handy. It's a lightweight tool, written in .NET that automatically closes down the game, downloads the map from HTTP and afterwards reconnects you to the server you were playing on.

It works on all versions of RtCW, including 1.0, 1.33 and 1.4, as long as the in-game download system is enabled on both client and server.

(This is a small application i made that automatically downloads maps if they are missing.

1. Choose the path where RTCW is installed (click "...")
2. Press "Connect to server"
3. If a map is missing, RTCW will be shut down, the map will be downloaded and RTCW will restart.


Requirements:
- RTCW (1.4 or higher)
- .NET Framework 2.0
- cl_allowdownload must be 1)

Hi all,

I have uploaded a different version of beach_1944 map to the server.
Spawn seems to work properly now.
Lemme know if there still is a problem. If so i will take down the map from server.
